I'm Sarah, founder of Happy Tails Pet Care.  I have always had a high level of compassion for animals of all types, which naturally led me to pursue a career working with pets.  After recognizing that many pet owners have a need for reliable pet care, I decided to start a business dedicated to providing the best possible care for pets of all shapes and sizes.

Happy Tails was established in 2005 and has experienced tremendous success and growth, primarily providing doggie play groups in the beginning and adding pet sitting as well as boarding services over the last several years. I also expanded my involvement in the animal community by volunteering at our local rescues including It's the Pits PitBull rescue, San Diego Humane Society, FOCAS, and the Helen Woodward Center.

In 2009, I had a wonderful opportunity to expand Happy Tails – after four years in business I took over SportyPup Pet Services, primarily a Doggie Daycare.  This addition has truly made Happy Tails a full service pet care company.

I am also an advocate for natural nutrition and holistic veterinary health care. I am constantly researching and learning the best ways to keep our pets happy and healthy! I would love to tell you about the benefits I've experienced switching my own dog to this lifestyle.
